The FLS-L series of float-type switches, supplied by S&S Middle East, are specifically designed for multi-level applications. They are ideal for scenarios where access is limited to the top surface or when multiple level sensing is required through a single penetration.

Each unit includes a float suspended by a cable, which moves with the liquid's surface level. As the float tilts in response to level changes, the integrated micro switches inside the float are activated.

1) The FLS-L must only be installed by a qualified, trained technician with experience in handling installations involving hazardous voltages (>50Vac &

<1000Vac or >75Vdc & <1500Vdc).

2) Always ensure that the power supply is fully disconnected before performing any work on the FLS-L.

3) The FLS-L-1L and FLS-L-1H models are supplied with a two-part mounting bracket for securing the cable to the side of the tank at the top edge. This

bracket includes a plastic tube with a single-hole fixing bracket and a tubular plastic insert that locks the cable in place once the desired mounting position

is determined. Hang the float so that its lower face is positioned 12.5 cm below the desired switching point. Note that no additional weight is required. Final

adjustments may be necessary during actual pumping conditions.

4) The remaining FLS-L models are supplied with a weight. The switching height differential is adjusted by sliding the weight along the cable. The differential

is minimized when the weight is positioned closest to the float
