What is BREEAM?

Here are some common questions about BREEAM WAT07

BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) is the leading and most widely used environmental assessment method for buildings in more than 70 countries throughout the globe, mostly in Europe. It sets the standard for best practice in sustainable design and has become the defacto measure used to describe a building’s environmental performance.

Major Water Leak Detection (BREEAM WAT 03)

Water Leak Prevention (BREEAM WAT 03)

Water Leak Detection Aims (BREEAM WAT 02)

Water Leak Detection in use (BREEAM WAT 07)

The objective is to minimize water wastage caused by leaks in an operational residential building. By implementing a leak detection system after construction, water consumption can be reduced, potential property damage mitigated, and overall costs lowered throughout the building’s lifecycle. This approach ensures ongoing efficiency and sustainability while addressing leaks that may arise during regular use.
